Job Title: SAP HCM Payroll Consultant (US / Australia Payroll)
Duration: 12 Months Contract (Extension Possible)
Location: India - 100% Remote
Work Timings:
- Role 1: Australia Payroll – AUS Time Zone (4:30 am to 12:30 pm IST)
- Role 2: US Payroll – US-MST Time Zone (9:30 pm to 5:30 am IST)
About the Role
We are looking for experienced SAP HCM Payroll Consultants with strong expertise in US and/or Australia payroll. The role involves end-to-end payroll processing, compliance, and support for global payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing (pre-payroll, execution, post-payroll)
- Perform payroll validation, reconciliation, and reporting
- Handle retro calculations, off-cycle payments, and adjustments
- Ensure compliance with country-specific payroll regulations
- Post payroll results to Finance / General Ledger
- Support data migration, payroll balances validation, and YTD checks
- Execute parallel payroll runs, testing (Unit & UAT)
- Troubleshoot payroll issues and resolve discrepancies
- Support audits and ongoing payroll operations
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in SAP HCM Payroll
- Hands-on expertise in US Payroll and/or Australia Payroll
- Experience with payroll processing, tax calculations, and compliance
- Knowledge of payroll testing, integrations, and reporting
- Ability to work in AUS / MST time zones
Payroll Expertise (Either of the below):
Australia Payroll:
- PAYG, Superannuation, STP reporting
- Payroll tax, leave management, termination payments
US Payroll:
- Federal & State taxes (FIT, FICA, FUTA, SUTA)
- W-2, 941 filings, garnishments, benefits (401k, FSA, etc.)
- Multi-state payroll compliance
