We are seeking an experienced SAP HCM Payroll professional to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing payroll processes and ensuring compliance with local regulations. This role requires expertise in SAP HCM functionality and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components or applications. The role requires working within dynamic project environments, applying modern development frameworks, and following agile methodologies to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to align solutions with business objectives and continuous improvement of software performance are integral parts of the daily routine.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processes using SAP HCM module.
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations related to payroll.
• Configure and maintain SAP HCM Payroll functionalities and processes.
• Perform regular audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll-related issues and discrepancies.
• Prepare and analyze payroll reports for management review.
• Implement improvements to payroll processes and systems to enhance efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.

- Responsible for team decisions.

- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.

- Lead the implementation of best practices to improve software quality and delivery timelines.

- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.

- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Skills and Qualifications

• 6-15 years of experience in SAP HCM Payroll module.
• Strong understanding of payroll processing and statutory compliance in India.
• Proficiency in SAP HCM configuration and integration with other SAP modules.
• Experience with payroll reporting and analytics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Relevant certifications in SAP HCM or payroll management are a plus.

Professional & Technical Skills:

- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP HCM Payroll.

- Strong knowledge of payroll processing and human capital management systems.

- Experience with integration of SAP HCM Payroll modules with other enterprise systems.

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex payroll-related technical issues.

- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.

- Competence in customizing SAP HCM Payroll solutions to meet specific organizational needs.

Additional Information:

- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP HCM Payroll.

- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.

OM- Organizational Management

PA-Personnel Administration1st priority - Australian payroll experience , 2nd - any international payroll experience such as UK, US , Singapore, Canada. , 3rd - India payroll experience.

The Candidate must have hands on experience in writing new PCRs and enhancing the existing PCRs (Payroll calculation roles) and Payroll Schema modifications.

Optional-Good to have SAP S4 HANA exp.

Experience- Over all 6+yrs, 4+yrs into Payroll.

Location- Priority Hyderabad (location flex)

Mode of working- Hybrid 2 days WFO.

Shift timings 6am to 3pm.
