We are seeking an experienced SAP HCM Consultant to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of SAP Human Capital Management modules. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of end-to-end HR processes and hands-on experience with SAP HCM submodules such as Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Time Management, and Payroll.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications within the SAP HCM system.
- Configure and maintain various SAP HCM modules, including:
- Personnel Administration (PA)
- Organizational Management (OM)
- Time Management
- Payroll (India/international, as applicable)
- ESS/MSS (Employee/Manager Self-Service)
- Provide support for day-to-day SAP HCM issues and change requests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, HR) for integrated business processes and reporting.
- Support data migration, testing (unit, integration, UAT), and go-live activities.
- Ensure system compliance with local labor laws and regulatory requirements.
- Create and maintain functional documentation, training materials, and user guides.
- Coordinate with ABAP developers for custom developments and enhancements.
- Provide end-user training and post-go-live support.
Required Skills:
- 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP HCM implementation or support.
- Strong configuration experience in PA/OM and at least one of the following: Time Management, Payroll, or ESS/MSS.
- Good understanding of HR business processes and statutory requirements.
- Experience with HR reporting, ad hoc queries, and data uploads (LSMW/BDC).
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolution.
- Familiarity with SAP HANA, SuccessFactors, or S/4HANA HR (a plus).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in SAP HCM implementation projects or rollouts.
- Knowledge of integration with SAP FICO, SAP Portal, or third-party HR systems.
- Exposure to SAP SuccessFactors is an added advantage.
- SAP HCM Certification preferred.
