We are looking for an experienced SAP HANA DBA with strong exposure to SAP S/4HANA implementations and proven project management experience. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing multiple SAP S/4HANA implementations and possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. This role will focus on both technical database administration for SAP HANA and supporting project management office (PMO) activities related to S/4HANA implementations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage SAP HANA database administration tasks, including installation, configuration, monitoring, performance tuning, backup, and recovery.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery setups for SAP HANA environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP HANA database issues proactively to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate closely with SAP S/4HANA functional and technical teams during implementation projects.
- Act as a key member of the SAP S/4HANA Implementation PMO, managing project plans, timelines, risks, and resources.
- Track and report project progress to stakeholders and leadership.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between cross-functional teams involved in SAP S/4HANA projects.
- Support change management and deployment activities during cutover and go-live phases.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards and best practices for SAP database administration and project delivery.
Experience & Skills:
- Multiple SAP S/4HANA implementation projects managed or supported in a PMO or technical capacity.
- Strong experience as an SAP HANA Database Administrator (DBA) with a deep understanding of SAP HANA architecture and tools.
- Proficient in SAP HANA database installation, configuration, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Strong project management and coordination skills with excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to work with diverse technical and business teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA landscape, modules, and integration points.
- Experience in managing deadlines, risks, and resources in large-scale SAP projects.
- Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
