Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled
SAP GTS Consultant to implement, enhance, and support SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) across Compliance Management, Customs Management, and Risk Management. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to ensure compliant global trade operations and seamless integration with SAP ERP/S/4HANA systems.
The role involves hands-on system configuration, testing, issue resolution, and supporting global rollout activities.
Key Responsibilities
Functional & Technical Expertise
- Implement and support SAP GTS modules including Compliance Management, Product Classification, Customs Management, and Transport Management.
- End-to-end integration with SAP ECC/S/4HANA, including BP transfer, material master integration, and document transfer.
- Support SPL screening, legal control, embargo checks, product classification, and license management.
- Maintain product classification data including HS codes, ECCN, and preference processing.
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess business impacts.
- Conduct requirement gathering workshops and prepare business requirements.
- Participate in solution design.
- Execute SIT/UAT cycles, manage defects, and support user training sessions.
- Support cutover activities, go-live, and post-production hypercare.
- Handle change requests, continuous improvements, and documentation.
Must-Have Skills
- 4+ years of hands-on SAP GTS experience (implementation and support).
- Strong knowledge of SAP GTS Compliance and Customs Management.
- Experience in Product Classification, SPL, embargo checks, and license management.
- Integration experience with SAP ECC/S/4HANA.
- Experience in SIT/UAT, defect management, and end-user training.
- Ability to coordinate with business stakeholders and functional teams.
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA GTS modules.
- Knowledge of global rollout processes and multi-country deployments.
- Understanding of transport management within SAP GTS.
- Experience monitoring regulatory changes and performing impact assessments.
- Proactive attitude with ownership of deliverables.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
