SAP Group Reporting Consultant

We are currently seeking an experienced SAP Group Reporting / IFRS 18 Functional Consultant for an immediate-start contract opportunity on a high-profile global finance transformation programme.

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior functional consultant to play a key role in the design, governance, and implementation of Group Reporting master data and IFRS 18-related reporting changes, acting as the bridge between Finance Policy, Group Reporting, and IT teams.

The successful candidate will combine strong SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting expertise with a deep understanding of financial consolidation, IFRS reporting, and finance master data governance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Own the functional design and implementation of IFRS 18 reporting changes within SAP Group Reporting
* Translate IFRS 18 presentation and disclosure requirements into system design including FS Items, hierarchies, Functional Areas, and reporting rules
* Deliver reporting artefacts including expense matrixes, prototypes, and mock-ups in line with project timelines
* Lead master data governance across the CFIN / Group Reporting landscape including creation, change, and deprecation processes
* Ensure alignment with Chart of Accounts governance and finance operational standards
* Facilitate and contribute to governance forums ensuring consistency, auditability, and traceability
* Provide hands-on functional expertise in SAP Group Reporting, including issue resolution, design support, and knowledge transfer
* Act as the key interface between IT build teams, business stakeholders, and third-party partners
* Run workshops, drive solutions, and manage senior stakeholder expectations across international teams

Key Requirements:

* 8-10+ years of SAP experience
* Strong background in financial consolidation and Group Reporting in an IFRS environment
* Strong understanding of IFRS financial statement presentation
* Exposure to IFRS 18 is highly preferred
* Proven experience in finance master data governance
* SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting experience is essential
* Experience with CFIN and legacy consolidation tools is advantageous
* Ability to operate autonomously and confidently with senior stakeholders
* Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills
