Your role
The FPSL Functional Delivery Lead supports the delivery of the Financial Products Subledger (FPSL) capability within the ampliFi program, with accountability for ensuring that finance, accounting, and ledger outcomes are delivered in line with UBS accounting principles, control standards, and delivery governance. The role is responsible for driving disciplined execution across functional design, business validation, testing readiness, and production transition for FPSL scope, while balancing delivery pace with quality, risk management, and stakeholder alignment. The role partners closely with Finance, Data, Integration, and Technology stakeholders to ensure high‑quality, on‑time outcomes and acts as a trusted functional representative for Finance within the FPSL delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Support end‑to‑end functional delivery for assigned FPSL workstreams or modules within the ampliFi ledger landscape, with clear ownership of outcomes.
- Contribute to and review functional designs and configurations to ensure correct accounting treatment, posting logic, balances, and alignment with UBS ledger principles.
- Develop and maintain delivery plans covering functional scope, milestones, dependencies, and impacts to Finance, ensuring transparency and realistic commitments.
- Proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies (RAID), with particular focus on financial accuracy, regulatory expectations, and operational readiness, escalating where required.
- Coordinate day‑to‑day delivery activities across Finance, Data, Integration, Testing, and Deployment teams, promoting collaboration and accountability across organisational boundaries.
- Ensure adherence to agreed delivery standards, accounting principles, design decisions, and change control processes.
- Support SIT and UAT execution from a functional perspective, including validation of business scenarios, assessment of defects based on finance impact, and support for business sign‑off.
- Assist with production readiness and cutover preparation, focusing on financial continuity, accuracy of balances, and stability of controls, and supporting smooth transition to business‑as‑usual operations.

Your expertise
Required Experience & Skills
- Strong experience delivering finance and accounting capabilities within complex transformation programs; hands on functional experience in SAP FPSL and integration to SAP GL preferably in Banking is required.
- Solid understanding of ledger and subledger concepts, including postings, balances, reconciliations, and downstream financial reporting.
- Good grasp of delivery governance fundamentals, including planning, dependency management, RAID management, and structured status reporting.
- Experience operating in global, matrixed delivery environments with multiple senior stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, structured, and finance‑relevant updates to support decision‑making.
- Delivery‑focused mindset with strong attention to control, quality, and risk awareness.
- AD‑level capability expectations: sound accounting fundamentals, strong ownership of outcomes, effective stakeholder management, and readiness to grow into broader finance transformation and ledger leadership responsibilities
