Key Responsibilities:

1. Freestyle Fiori Development:
2. Design and develop freestyle Fiori applications using SAP UI5 and JavaScript. Ensure high-quality, responsive, and user-friendly web interfaces.
3. ODATA Service Consumption:
4. Integrate and consume ODATA services in Fiori/UI5 applications. Work closely with the backend team to ensure seamless data transfer and functionality between UI5 front-end and SAP back-end systems.
5. Fiori Elements:
6. Leverage Fiori Elements to create scalable, adaptable, and reusable applications. Customize standard Fiori elements according to project-specific requirements.
7. Configuration of Standard Fiori Applications:
8. Configure and maintain standard Fiori applications within the SAP ecosystem. Enhance existing functionality where necessary to align with business needs.
9. Prototyping and Design:
10. Create design prototypes for new UI5/Fiori applications that are yet to be developed. Work with stakeholders to define requirements and visualize UI/UX concepts before development.
11. Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
12. Support and maintain existing custom UI5 applications built for clients. Identify and resolve any issues or bugs that arise in current applications, ensuring they function smoothly.
13. Collaboration with Backend Teams:
14. Collaborate with backend teams to understand the business logic and integrate the ODATA services appropriately. Ensure data consistency between the back-end SAP systems and the front-end applications.
15. JavaScript Development:
16. Utilize JavaScript expertise to build dynamic functionalities within the UI5 applications. Implement custom controls, manage events, and ensure smooth interaction between the user interface and backend.
17. Fiori UI5 Best Practices:
18. Adhere to best practices for Fiori UI5 development. Ensure consistency, reusability, and high performance in all developed applications.
19. Continuous Improvement:
20. Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP Fiori/UI5 developments and technologies. Contribute ideas for improvements in both user experience and technical processes.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in SAP Fiori and UI5 application development, with a strong focus on ODATA services integration.
• Technical Expertise:
• Deep knowledge of freestyle Fiori development.
• Experience with Fiori Elements development.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript and SAP UI5 concepts.
• Hands-on experience in configuring standard Fiori applications.
• Collaboration Skills: Ability to collaborate with both backend teams (for ODATA service consumption) and frontend teams to create seamless end-to-end solutions.
• Prototyping & Design: Proficient in creating design prototypes and wireframes for future applications.
• Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills to maintain and enhance existing custom UI5 applications.
• Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and development teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with SAP HANA and ABAP for integrating backend systems with UI5/Fiori applications.
• Experience with Fiori Launchpad configuration.
• Knowledge of Fiori Guidelines and Design Principles.
