Job Description
The SAP Fiori Consultant will lead the design and development of user-centric applications using SAP Fiori and UI5 technologies. The role requires strong front-end development skills, a solid understanding of SAP backend integration, and the ability to collaborate with functional and technical teams to deliver intuitive and efficient SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Create and extend standard Fiori apps using SAP Web IDE or BAS.
- Integrate Fiori apps with SAP backend using OData services.
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into user-friendly interfaces.
- Perform performance tuning and optimization of Fiori applications.
- Support deployment and configuration of Fiori Launchpad and catalogs/groups.
- Provide guidance on Fiori design principles and SAP UX strategy.
- Utilize basic ABAP skills for backend logic, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 8+ years of SAP experience, with at least 5+ years in SAP Fiori/UI5 development.
- Should be able develop Transactional Apps, customize, and extend Standard Fiori Apps.
- Knowledge in Fiori Launchpad configuration
- Strong expertise in SAPUI5, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and JSON.
- Experience in RAP & Fiori elements.
- Experience in developing and consuming OData services.
- Familiarity with SAP Gateway and basic ABAP development (RFCs, BAPIs, debugging).
- Understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and Fiori design guidelines.
- Experience with SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) or SAP Web IDE.
- Knowledge of Git, version control, and CI/CD practices is a plus.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Performance Tuning, Testing, and Debugging skills.
- Hands-on Expertise in determining or validating the development effort estimates, assisting functional teams, and reviewing Technical Specification Design
- Ability to work independently and mentor junior developers.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to provide alternative solutions to technical problems.
