The Opportunity
Within an important international SAP competence center, a true internal expertise center, we are seeking an experienced Senior SAP FICO Consultant to join our team. As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expertise and guidance in the area of the SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) module. You will work closely with our internal clients to analyze their financial business requirements, design and implement solutions, and provide ongoing support and maintenance.

Location : Pune or Chennai
Main Skill Set : Experience with FICO and CO-PA
Mode of work : Hybrid

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Conduct requirements gathering sessions with clients to understand their financial and controlling processes and identify opportunities for improvement within the SAP FICO module.
- Design and configure FICO functionalities, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Controlling (CO), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), and Profit Center Accounting (PCA).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate FICO with other SAP modules, such as Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Human Capital Management (HCM).
- Lead or participate in system testing activities, including preparing test scenarios, executing tests, and resolving defects.
- Provide end-user training and support to ensure successful adoption and utilization of the SAP FICO system.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and functional issues by analyzing system logs, debugging programs, and applying SAP notes.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP FICO trends, especially in S/4HANA, and provide recommendations for system enhancements or process improvements.
- Lead or contribute to the implementation of SAP FICO best practices, standards, and methodologies.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior consultants on the team.
Who Are We Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience as an SAP FICO Consultant, with a strong understanding of core finance and controlling processes and in-depth knowledge of integration points with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and HCM.
- Extensive hands-on experience in configuring and customizing SAP FICO functionalities.
- Experience with SAP implementation lifecycles, especially in S/4HANA, including requirements gathering, design, testing, and post-go-live support.
- Ability to analyze complex financial business requirements and translate them into SAP system solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, cross-functional and technical teams.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- SAP Certification in Financial Accounting (FI) and/or Controlling (CO) is preferred.
