Key Responsibilities for RTR Architect :
RTR Solution Design & Financial Integration
- Lead Record to Report process design in SAP S/4HANA for
- General Ledger (FI)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting and period close processes
- Design and configure freight accounting and
- Integration with TM, EWM and OTC
- Freight cost allocation and settlement
- Own costing and inventory valuation integration with SCM processes.
Banking, Payments & Treasury Interfaces
- Configure and support banking integrations, including:
- Bank interfaces and payment formats
- Lockbox processing
- Incoming and outgoing payment automation
- Ensure seamless AR/AP integration with OTC billing and PTP processes.
Cross Functional Financial Impact
- Ensure accurate financial postings from logistics and sales:
- Goods movements from EWM and PTP
- Billing, returns, and settlement postings from OTC
- Support real-time financial integration and reconciliation in S/4 HANA.
Delivery & Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as the primary finance point of contact for:
- Business finance stakeholders
- SAP Solution Architects
- Offshore and onsite master data teams (GL, vendors, customers, cost objects)
- Drive testing strategy, defect resolution and cutover readiness.
- Support compliance, audit and governance requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of SAP FI/RTR consulting experience with S/4 HANA exposure
- Strong expertise in:
- AP, AR, GL
- Freight accounting
- Costing and inventory accounting
