Sap Finance Control Consultant

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with strong functional expertise in Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. The candidate will be responsible for end‑to‑end SAP FICO implementation, support, and enhancement activities, working closely with business stakeholders to deliver scalable financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support SAP FICO implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and support projects
• Configure and support FI modules:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Asset Accounting (AA)
• Bank Accounting
• Configure and support CO modules:
• Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
• Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
• Internal Orders
• Product Costing & Profitability Analysis (COPA)
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP FICO solutions
• Prepare functional specifications and work closely with technical teams (ABAP)
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
• Handle integrations with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, and HR
• Manage UAT, production support, incident resolution, and change requests
• Ensure compliance with financial controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards
• Provide end-user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6–12 years of hands-on SAP FICO experience
• Strong expertise in FI & CO configuration and business processes
• End‑to‑end implementation experience (minimum 1–2 full lifecycle projects)
• Good understanding of financial accounting principles and controlling processes
• Experience in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA Finance
• Strong knowledge of integration points with MM & SD
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently in support and project environments

Good to Have

• S/4HANA Finance (Simple Finance) experience
• Exposure to GST, taxation, compliance, and statutory reporting
• Experience in Global / GCC / client-facing projects
• SAP FICO certification

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or Engineering
• MBA / CA / ICWA is a plus
