SAP FICO Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and build SAP FICO solutions with a focus on Controlling and General Ledger
• Support the Business Blueprint phase by defining solutions using best practices
• Create functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP developers
• Collaborate with technical teams on integration and data management for SAP interfaces
• Stabilize delivered solutions and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Prepare documentation and conduct training for key end users
• Provide on-call support and ensure timely responses to user queries
• Maintain user procedures, training material, process maps, and documentation
• Coordinate user acceptance testing and enforce QA standards
• Ensure confidentiality of sensitive internal and customer-specific data
• Architect SAP FICO solutions for global rollouts, upgrades, and transformations (Greenfield/Brownfield)
• Integrate finance processes with SAP BTP, Fiori applications, and Embedded Analytics
• Partner with ABAP teams for custom development and third-party integrations
• Work with stakeholders from Finance, MM, SD, PP, and PS to convert requirements into scalable SAP solutions
• Manage all project phases including configuration, SIT/UAT, cutover, go-live, and hypercare
• Mentor junior consultants and help build reusable delivery accelerators

Ideal Candidate

• Experience: 12+ years in SAP FICO with strong hands-on configuration and implementation expertise
• S/4HANA Expertise: Experience in Greenfield/Brownfield rollouts, data migration, and innovation enablement
• Functional Areas: FSCM, MBC, Financial Closing Cockpit, Fiori UI, Embedded Analytics
• Methodologies: Agile delivery, high-quality documentation, and stakeholder communication

• SAP S/4HANA Finance or Management Accounting
• SAP BTP Developer or Architect
• SAP Group Reporting, Central Finance
• SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), ICMR
• TOGAF / RISE with SAP / GROW with SAP
