This is afull-time contract, remote rolefor anSAP S/4HANA FICO Consultantsupporting aTurkey-based Energy sector client. The consultant will takeconfiguration ownershipacrossFI and Tax, ensure correctend-to-end integration with MM and SD, and supportcontrolling, analytics, and reportingrequirements within an S/4HANA landscape.
Key responsibilities include analyzing and optimizing finance-related business processes, configuring SAP FICO modules with a strong focus ontax procedures and localization, supportingCO-PA analytics, and ensuring seamless integration across procurement, sales, and controlling. The role also involves issue resolution, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and providing subject-matter expertise in financial accounting and controlling during project delivery and post-go-live support.
The consultant must be comfortable working remotely, withwillingness to travel to Turkey if required.
Qualifications / Mandatory Skills- Strong hands-on experience in SAP FICO, with deep expertise in:
- Financial Accounting (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting)
- Tax procedures and tax configuration(tax codes, condition types, VAT, withholding tax)
- Strong integration experience with MM and SD, including tax determination and FI postings
- Working knowledge ofInternal Ordersconfiguration and FICO integration
- Strong CO-PA (Profitability Analysis) experience, including margin and profitability reporting
- Exposure tofinancial analyticsand reporting in S/4HANA (Embedded Analytics / Fiori)
- Basic understanding of BW / BI concepts(data flow, reporting dependency configuration not required)
- Proven experience inSAP S/4HANA implementations(RISE / Greenfield experience is a strong plus)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with solid finance domain knowledge
- Effective written and verbal communication skills; able to collaborate with global teams
- Ability to work independently in a remote, contract-based environment
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, IT, Business Administration, or a related field
Preferred / Value-Add- Energy or Utilities industry experience
- Prior RISE with SAP S/4HANA project exposure
- Willingness to travel onsite to Turkey when required
