SAP FICO Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP FICO Consultant with deep expertise in Product Costing and hands-on experience in S/4HANA migration projects. You will be responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing SAP FICO solutions, focusing on product costing, financial reporting, and controlling processes. This role requires significant experience in the manufacturing industry, strong knowledge of cross-module integrations with SD, MM, and PP, and the ability to manage full-cycle SAP S/4HANA migration projects.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• SAP S/4HANA Migration: Plan, design, and execute the migration from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, with a focus on FICO processes. Assess current configurations and financial data to develop migration strategies. Own and manage data migration efforts, including ETL, to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Financial Modules Configuration: Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP FICO modules, with a particular focus on Product Costing (CO-PC) and Cost Object Controlling (CO-OM). Reconfigure or optimize FICO modules (AR, AP, GL, asset accounting, tax, etc.) to bridge the gap between the ECC and S/4HANA environments.
• Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize financial processes during the migration to align with the new capabilities of S/4HANA. Support change management initiatives, ensuring minimal disruption during the migration and go-live phases.
• Cross-Module Integrations: Ensure seamless integration of FICO modules with other key modules, such as SD (Sales & Distribution), MM (Materials Management), and PP (Production Planning).
• Data Migration and Validation: Work closely with data migration process teams to validate and reconcile migrated data, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business leaders, finance, and IT teams to gather requirements, define solutions, and manage expectations throughout the project.

Skills Required

• Deep expertise in SAP FICO, particularly in Product Costing, and hands-on experience in S/4HANA migration projects.
• Highly skilled in cross-module integrations involving SD, MM, and PP.
• Strong knowledge of AR, AP, GL, Asset Accounting, Tax (Direct & Indirect), and Consolidation.
• Significant experience in manufacturing industry-specific costing processes.
• Experience with complex cross-system integrations, including FP&A systems like Snowflake, SAC, or Adaptive, as well as other external systems.
• The ability to design and build business-critical processes through SAP FICO.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and manage gaps and enhancements between ECC and S/4HANA.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
