Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to lead and deliver end‑to‑end SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling solutions. The role requires strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance, financial processes, business transformation, and stakeholder management across large and complex implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end SAP FICO implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and support engagements.
- Drive requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and go‑live support activities.
- Act as functional lead / SME for SAP FI and CO modules.
- Handle financial process transformation including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- Bank Accounting
- Cost Center and Profit Center Accounting
- Work on S/4HANA Finance conversions, ECC to S/4 transformations, and optimizations.
- Manage integrations with MM, SD, HR, Treasury, and other modules.
- Lead workshops, client discussions, and stakeholder alignment.
- Prepare and review functional design documents, UAT scripts, configuration documents, and user training materials.
- Support financial reporting, period-end and year-end close activities.
- Mentor junior consultants and oversee offshore/onshore delivery teams.
- Ensure solution compliance with statutory, audit, and regulatory requirements.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- Strong hands‑on expertise in SAP FICO (FI & CO) modules.
- Experience on SAP S/4HANA Finance (mandatory).
- Deep understanding of:
- GL, AP, AR, AA
- CO modules – Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders
- Experience in New GL, Document Splitting, Parallel Accounting.
- Strong exposure to GST / Taxation / IFRS / Ind‑AS (preferred).
- Experience in data migration, cutover activities, and reconciliations.
- Ability to design and implement complex financial solutions.
- Excellent client management, communication, and leadership skills.
