Job Description

  • Manage and deliver SAP FICO solutions within a large ERP environment for a global, multinational organizationpreferably in the retail domain.
  • Lead or contribute to at least two full life cycle SAP FICO implementations, from project preparation through Go-Live and post-implementation support.
  • Provide strong business process and functional support for the SAP FI module, including areas such as Financial Accounting Global Settings, Enterprise Structure, General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Asset Accounting, ReFX, and Bank/Cash Management.
  • Support the CO module in areas including Cost Elements, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Profit Segments, and Profitability Analysis.
  • Execute and manage period-end activities, including month-end and year-end financial closing for both FI and CO modules.
  • Ensure seamless integration between FI-MM and FI-SD modules, maintaining data consistency across business functions.
  • Develop and review functional specifications for system customizations, financial reports, and enhancements based on business requirements.
  • Conduct functional and integration testing for change requests and developments, including test case preparation and execution using UFT/ALM tools.
  • Provide cross-functional support for SD, MM, and ABAP teams, ensuring smooth end-to-end business processes.
  • Follow global methodologies, quality processes, and procedures for all SAP-related activities.
  • Work with incident management and testing tools to ensure timely issue resolution and change tracking.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 812 years of experience in SAP FICO module implementation and support.
  • Proven experience in at least two full life cycle SAP FICO implementation projects.
  • Strong functional knowledge in FI (GL, AR, AP, AA, ReFX, Cash/Bank Management) and CO (Costing, Profit Centers, Profitability Analysis).
  • Expertise in financial closing activities and integration with FI-MM and FI-SD.
  • Hands-on experience with functional specifications, testing (UFT/ALM), and change management tools.
  • Exposure to working in a global ERP environment with adherence to quality standards and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on business process optimization.
