SAP FI & SAP SPL Consultant

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SAP FI & SAP SPL Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) processes as well as experience in SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) specifically in Sanctions Party List (SPL) screening. This role involves implementing, configuring, and supporting finance operations and compliance-related screening within SAP systems.

Responsibilities:

• SAP FI Module Configuration & Support: Configure and provide support for SAP FI modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting, and Banking.
• Financial Postings & Closing: Ensure accurate financial postings and actively support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Requirements Translation: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and translate financial requirements into robust system configurations.
• SAP SPL Compliance: Implement and manage SAP SPL (Sanctioned Party List) screening processes to ensure strict compliance with international trade regulations.
• SPL Issue Resolution: Monitor and efficiently resolve SPL screening issues, such as blocked business partners or transactions.
• SPL Integration: Integrate SAP SPL with logistics and finance processes where required (e.g., sales order processing) for seamless operations.
• Sanction List Management: Work with SAP GTS (Global Trade Services) or standalone SPL modules to manage updates to sanction lists.
• Incident & Enhancement Support: Provide comprehensive support for incident resolution and drive enhancements in both FI and SPL areas.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (SD, MM, GTS, Compliance) for integrated process alignment.
• Documentation: Create thorough documentation for system configurations, testing scenarios, and end-user training.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in SAP FI configuration and support.
• Hands-on experience with SAP SPL / GTS SPL module.
• Solid understanding of financial processes and compliance regulations related to global trade.
• Familiarity with SPL master data screening, transactional screening, and hit resolution processes.
• Experience with integration points between FI and other SAP modules (MM, SD, GTS).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory):

• SAP Certification in FI or GTS.
