Key Responsibilities
- As an experienced SAP FI Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining SAP Financial Accounting (FI) modules with expertise in the Indian version setup and Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and configure SAP FI modules according to business requirements, with a focus on the Indian version setup and GST compliance.
- Provide expert consultation on SAP FI functionalities and best practices to optimize financial processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP FI with other modules and third-party systems.
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer sessions for end-users and project stakeholders.
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution during implementation and post-go-live support phases.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP releases, patches, and regulatory changes related to Indian taxation and GST.
- Lead and mentor junior consultants, providing guidance and support in SAP FI module implementation and configuration.
- 8-10 years of hands-on experience in implementing and configuring SAP FI modules, preferably with a focus on the Indian version setup and GST compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP FI functionalities, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Bank Accounting.
- Proficiency in SAP configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules and third-party systems.
- Strong understanding of Indian taxation laws, GST regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- SAP certification in Financial Accounting (FI) is preferred.
