Role Overview
We are looking for a
customer-facing SAP EWM Functional Consultant who will act as a
Process Solution Expert supporting plant users, driving solution design, and ensuring smooth SAP EWM project execution across implementation, rollout, and support phases.
Key Responsibilities
Process & Solution Design
- Act as a process expert in designing SAP EWM process templates
- Conduct gap analysis and gather new business requirements
- Translate customer requirements into effective EWM solutions
- Collaborate with process owners to design and deliver new solutions
Implementation & Support
- Participate in end-to-end SAP EWM implementations
- Support post-go-live / hypercare activities
- Troubleshoot defects during testing and production support phases
- Assist in template rollouts across locations
User & Plant Support- Support Plant Key Users and End Users during:
- Unit Testing
- Integration Testing
- UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
- Conduct training sessions for key users
- Support data migration (test and productive migration)
Integration & Technical Coordination
- Work on EWMERP integration setup and configuration
- Handle interfaces using IDOCs, CIF, RFC
- Prepare Functional Specifications for EWM developments
Must-Have Skill Set
SAP EWM Expertise
- Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP EWM implementations
- Hands-on experience in SAP EWM 9.5 and S/4HANA Embedded EWM
- At least 1 year of S/4HANA Embedded EWM experience
- Strong knowledge of EWM-ERP integration
Support & Rollout
- Experience in minimum 2 support or post-go-live projects
- Understanding of template-based rollout methodologies
Warehouse Process Knowledge
Strong expertise in
at least one and good knowledge of the others:
- Inbound Processing
- Outbound Processing
- Internal Warehousing
- Packaging Processes
(Strong = ability to explain business scenarios, customer requirements, and solution design)
Integration & Interfaces- Hands-on experience with:
Industry Experience
- Minimum 2 years of SAP EWM experience in Automotive or Manufacturing industry
Production Integration
- Knowledge of EWM Production Supply & Replenishment processes
Soft Skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
- Ability to work independently in customer-facing environments
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good working knowledge of MS Office tools
Nice-to-Have Skill Set- Knowledge of Value-Added Services (VAS) in EWM
- Exposure to Automated Warehouse processes
- Exposure to SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM)
- SAP Certification in:
- SAP EWM (Embedded or Decentralized)
- SAP WM (optional)
Travel Requirement
- Willingness to travel for short-term assignments (up to 4 weeks), domestic or international
