Job Description

About The Role

  • You will provide functional configuration and production support for SAP WM, ensuring :
  • Efficient goods movement processes
  • Stable and error-free warehouse operations
  • Seamless integration with MM, SD & LE
  • Strong incident & change management practices
  • You'll work closely with warehouse users, support teams, and technical stakeholders to enhance system reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

SAP WM Configuration & Support :

  • Configure & support :
  • Goods Receipt
  • Put-away
  • Picking
  • Packing
  • Goods Issue
  • Provide production support & issue resolution
  • Work on customization & configuration enhancements
  • Troubleshoot warehouse process & system errors

Integration & Interfaces

  • Support integration with :
  • MM (Materials Management)
  • SD (Sales & Distribution)
  • LE (Logistics Execution)
  • Monitor & resolve issues via :
  • IDocs
  • Batch jobs
  • Support RF transactions & barcode scanning
  • Ensure cross-module data consistency

Operational & Incident Management

  • Handle tickets via ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.)
  • Follow ITIL-based incident, problem & change management
  • Perform root cause analysis & recommend preventive solutions
  • Maintain documentation & knowledge base

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Interact with warehouse users to understand operational gaps
  • Provide functional clarifications & training support
  • Support audits & system enhancements
  • Participate in testing & deployment cycles

Requirements

  • 10+ years of SAP experience
  • 4 to 6 years of hands-on SAP WM support & configuration
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse processes (GR, Put-away, Picking, Packing, GI)
  • Experience with RF transactions & barcode scanning
  • Strong integration knowledge (MM, SD, LE)
  • Experience with IDocs & interface monitoring
  • Familiarity with ITIL & ticketing tools
  • Strong troubleshooting & analytical skills

Nice To Have

  • Experience in multi-warehouse / multi-plant setups
  • Exposure to SAP EWM or S/4HANA warehouse solutions
  • Experience in warehouse optimization initiatives
  • Knowledge of logistics KPIs & performance metrics
  • Experience in large-scale or global SAP landscapes
