Job Title: SAP ERP Lead (Global)

Job Summary:
The SAP ERP Lead is responsible for leading the design, implementation, integration, and continuous improvement of SAP ERP solutions across global business units. This role ensures strategic alignment between business processes and SAP functionality while managing cross-functional teams, global rollouts, and complex system landscapes. The position requires deep expertise in SAP modules, strong leadership, and the ability to collaborate across regions and cultures.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership & Strategy
- Lead the global SAP ERP roadmap, strategy, and architecture in alignment with business objectives.
- Partner with business and IT leadership to define and execute global ERP initiatives and digital transformation programs.
- Oversee global SAP deployments, migrations, and upgrades (ECC to S/4HANA preferred).
- Ensure consistency and standardization of SAP processes across all geographies.
2. Solution Design & Implementation
- Drive end-to-end SAP implementation and enhancement projects (requirements, design, build, test, deploy).
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement SAP best practices, process improvements, and automation opportunities.
- Oversee system integration with third-party applications and legacy systems.
- Manage global template design and localization requirements.
3. Stakeholder & Team Management
- Lead cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, functional consultants, and integration experts.
- Collaborate with regional business leads to ensure smooth adoption and change management.
- Provide mentorship, performance feedback, and skill development for team members.
- Act as the escalation point for complex SAP-related issues.
4. Governance & Compliance
- Ensure SAP ERP compliance with corporate IT policies, data security, and regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, SOX).
- Establish governance frameworks for change management, documentation, and release management.
- Manage relationships with SAP, implementation partners, and vendors.
5. Continuous Improvement
- Monitor ERP system performance and drive continuous optimization.
- Stay current with SAP innovations, updates, and emerging technologies (AI, automation, analytics, Fiori, BTP).
- Promote adoption of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud solutions, and integration with enterprise platforms.
