Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop SAP Enterprise Portal applications, roles, and content
  • Customize and configure portal components like iViews, worksets, and themes
  • Integrate SAP Portal with SAP modules (ECC, S/4HANA, BI) and third-party systems
  • Develop and deploy Web Dynpro applications, BSP, and Java components within the portal
  • Manage portal security, user roles, and access control
  • Troubleshoot portal issues and optimize performance
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
  • Provide support during portal upgrades, patches, and migration activities
  • Document technical specifications, configurations, and user manuals
  • Conduct end-user training and knowledge transfer sessions
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Proven experience in SAP Enterprise Portal (EP) implementation and support
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Portal architecture, iViews, roles, and navigation
  • Experience with Web Dynpro, BSP, Java, and portal administration
  • Familiarity with SAP NetWeaver and integration technologies
  • Good understanding of SAP security concepts and user management
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve portal-related issues effectively
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience working in Agile or Waterfall project methodologies
