Role Description
We are looking for a seasoned SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll Lead Consultant with 10+ years of experience to lead the implementation, optimization, and support of payroll solutions within the SAP SuccessFactors ecosystem. This role requires expertise in payroll processes, technical acumen, and the ability to deliver robust and scalable solutions that meet global and regional requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Leadership:
- Lead end-to-end implementation of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP), including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Drive project lifecycle phases, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align payroll solutions with business objectives and compliance standards.
2. Payroll Process Optimization:
- Analyze existing payroll processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with local, regional, and global payroll regulations and standards.
3. Configuration and Integration:
- Configure Employee Central Payroll, ensuring seamless integration with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and other third-party systems.
- Manage data migration and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Partner with HR, Finance, and IT teams to design and deliver payroll solutions tailored to business needs.
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for payroll-related topics, providing guidance and support to stakeholders.
5. Team Leadership and Mentorship:
- Mentor and guide junior consultants and team members on payroll configurations and best practices.
- Facilitate training sessions and create documentation to support system adoption and knowledge sharing.
6. System Maintenance and Support:
- Oversee system updates, tax compliance changes, and troubleshooting of payroll-related issues.
- Monitor and maintain system performance, ensuring payroll accuracy and timely processing.
Required Skills:
- Deep expertise in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll, including configuration and integration.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance standards across multiple regions.
- Proficiency in data migration, validation, and middleware tools such as SAP CPI or Dell Boomi.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities to manage diverse stakeholders and teams.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
1. Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field.
2. Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP payroll solutions, with at least 5 years in Employee Central Payroll.
- Proven track record of leading multiple payroll implementation projects in global or regional environments with focus on US and Canadian Payroll
3. Certifications:
- SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll certification/S4 HANA Payroll Certification is highly preferred.
4. Knowledge:
- Comprehensive understanding of payroll compliance requirements across different countries.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and Employee Central integration.
- Experience with time management and benefits integration is a plus.
