As an SAP Developer at Koch, you will build and enhance high-performing ERP solutions that support INVISTA's global business processes. Reporting to the SAP Technical Team Lead, you'll work with geographically distributed product and technology teams to design scalable integrations, develop OData and UI5/Fiori solutions, and help stabilize and evolve the SAP landscape. Our Team
You will be part of the INVISTA group within the Koch Technology Center (KTC) a global, cross-functional agile product team focused on delivering SAP-enabled business capabilities across INVISTA's manufacturing and supply chain operations. The team emphasizes collaboration, technical craftsmanship, and continuous improvement.
What You Will Do
- Architect and implement SAP ABAP solutions (ABAP OO) that are scalable, supportable, and aligned to product design and integration standards.
- Design, build, and maintain SAP OData/Gateway services and REST API integrations to support UI5/Fiori and third-party systems.
- Lead UI5/Fiori development efforts and contribute to SAP BTP (CAP/RAP) initiatives that modernize user experiences and extension scenarios.
- Troubleshoot and remediate production incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement long-term stabilizing fixes.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to developers, and collaborate with product managers, QA, and operations on delivery and DevOps practices.
- Contribute to solution design reviews, code quality, and deployment automation to ensure maintainability and supportability of SAP solutions.
- Participate in on-call rotation and support shift-based work during critical project phases.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- 7+ years of software development experience in the SAP ABAP ecosystem, including hands-on ABAP OO and ABAP 7.4/7.5.
- 3+ years of experience developing SAP OData/Gateway services and building RESTful integrations.
- Experience developing UI5/Fiori applications and familiarity with SAP BTP CAP/RAP development models.
What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience with SAP integration middleware (PI/PO) or modern microservices-based integration patterns.
- Familiarity with JavaScript/Node.js and API testing tools (Postman, Insomnia).
- Prior exposure to SAP modules such as SD, FI, WM, SCM, GTS, TM, or APO and integration use-cases across those areas.
- Experience working with Agile/DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
- Strong communication skills with proven ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
