Role: SAP Datasphere + BW4HANA
Location: Mumbai
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop data models, views, and semantic layers for analytics consumption using SAP Datasphere.
- Build and manage data pipelines, replication flows, and Data Access Controls (DAC), integrating data from SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and non-SAP sources.
- Develop and maintain SAP BW objects such as ADSOs, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views, Transformations, DTPs, and Process Chains.
- Perform ABAP development for data extraction, enhancements, custom logic, and performance optimization.
- Lead or support migration initiatives from SAP BW to SAP Datasphere, including object assessment, data model redesign, and data validation/reconciliation.
- Optimize data models to ensure performance, scalability, and extensibility.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and analytics teams to gather and translate reporting requirements into technical solutions.
- Enable integration with reporting tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud and other BI platforms.
- Provide production support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Ensure adherence to SAP standards, security protocols, and data governance policies.
Technical Skills & Expertise:
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP BW/4HANA modeling, including ADSOs, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views, Transformations, and BEx Queries.
- Experience with Native HANA modeling, mixed scenarios, and HANA Analysis Processes.
- Solid understanding of LSA++ architecture and performance optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in ABAP, including routines (Start, End, Expert, Field), AMDP scripts, BADIs, Function Modules, and debugging.
- Experience with BEx Query Designer, Customer Exit Variables, Roles, and Authorizations.
- Strong SQL skills and data modeling expertise.
