BASIC FUNCTION OF JOB

Senior Developers (Integration) work with little supervision, preparing specifications, user requirements and programs of a highly technical or complex nature. They assist Business Analysts and other programmers with the application or technical problems. They design, develop, test, debug, and document programs on large-scale, complex projects. The senior-level position requires advanced technical knowledge in all areas of applications programming, system design and update, storage and retrieval methods, application performance optimization. This position makes decisions that can affect the overall outcome of the business or the company, in conjunction with Leads and Technical Management.

• The role involves collaborating with various teams to deliver robust integration solutions and ensuring compliance with security standards while managing and troubleshooting integration scenarios
• Design, develop, and maintain integration flows using CPI & APIM to integrate SAP and third-party systems
• Collaborate with the SAP functional & technical teams, external partners, to deliver robust integration solutions
• Ensure integrations comply with organizational security standards, guidelines, and industry best practices
• Conduct through testing of interfaces, including unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and performance testing
• Monitor and manage integration scenarios, perform technical troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to resolve issues
• Analyze existing integrations, identify opportunities for improvement
• Prepare and maintain technical specifications and unit test documents
• Stay up to date with SAP Integration technologies and best practices

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree (Computer Science/Engineering) from a four-year college or university and 4 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

The ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business/ professional journals, technical procedures, or regulations is necessary. The ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, other employees is a plus.

Developers will pursue knowledge of SAP Integration Suite on Cloud Foundry. Possess strong creative problem-solving ability. Ability to multi-task, establish priorities and meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills. Ability and desire to thrive in a fast-paced, client-services environment.

• 6+ years of experience in designing, developing, and configuring integrations using SAP PI/PO, CPI & APIM
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience as a CPI developer with a strong understanding of SAP Integration Suite capabilities
• Experience in at least 2 full-cycle integration projects from initiation to closure
• Hands-on experience with adapters such as HTTP,File, SFTP, JMS, RFC, SOAP, MAIL, and IDoc
• Experience with implementing ABAP proxies
• In-depth knowledge of various mapping techniques, including Graphical mapping, Java mapping & XSLT mapping
• Expertise in writing Groovy scripts
• Strong knowledge of API proxy creation and policy setup in SAP APIM
• Proficiency in using CPI tools such as integration flow designer, mapping editor, and monitoring tools
• Knowledge of various integration patterns, authentication protocols such as OAuth, JWT, and SAML
• Working knowledge of transporting mechanisms like CTS+ and experience with CI/CD pipelines for SAP Integration
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with Agile project methodologies and collaborative working environments
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
