GSPANN is hiring an SAP CO Consultant to drive Controlling design, integration, and reporting across global SAP landscapes. The role focuses on CO-PA, Product Costing, FI integration, and business-led testing and adoption.
Role and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Business Process Managers (BPMs) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to align approved Controlling (CO), Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), and Product Costing templates with business requirements.
- Ensure consistency in CO-PA design, including characteristics, derivations, valuation, and allocations, while maintaining Financial AccountingControlling (FICO) reconciliation within the Universal Journal.
- Govern Controlling master data and organizational structures such as Controlling Area, Operating Concern, Profit and Cost Center hierarchies, Cost Component Split, and Universal Allocations.
- Coordinate end-to-end integration across Finance and Accounting (FI), Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), and Production Planning (PP), covering pricing and billing to CO-PA, Material Ledger, Work in Progress (WIP), variance calculation, and settlement.
- Define reporting requirements and drive adoption using Core Data Services (CDS) views, SAP Fiori analytical applications, and KPI hierarchies.
- Lead business testing activities, including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring execution oversight and timely defect resolution.
- Guide data migration and cutover strategies, including mock data loads, reconciliation, and readiness for go-live.
- Support deployments across global markets while ensuring compliance, adoption, and process standardization.
- Deliver knowledge transfer sessions and training for global and local business teams.
- Create user documentation, best-practice guidelines, and support ongoing continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills And Experience
- 7-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP Controlling (CO), including Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), Product Costing, and Profit Center Accounting (PCA).
- Strong expertise in Account-Based CO-PA (Margin Analysis) and the SAP Universal Journal.
- Proven experience integrating CO with FI, SD, MM, and PP, including Material Ledger, WIP, and variance calculation, and settlement processes.
- Experience enabling reporting and analytics using CDS views, SAP Fiori, and KPI-driven dashboards.
- Strong leadership in testing cycles, data migration planning, and cutover execution.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills to bridge business and IT teams effectively.
