SAP Consultant - PM (Plant Maintenance)- Qatar

Role Objective

The role of SAP PM consultant is to provide specialist support to Business operations in the utilization of SAP Plant Maintenance, SAP Service and Asset Manager(SSAM), Management of Change(MoC) and Fleet management applications. The role will involve daily support to business requirements as well as major projects and initiatives taken up during the engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advice and guidance to business units on improving business processes and functions by analysis, benchmarking and development of detailed SAP business process functional and technical specifications.
• Assess and recommend new technologies to improve systems and business processes by conducting research and presenting solutions to management for optimal outcomes.
• Translate business requirements into SAP functionalities through analysis, business process design and configuration, gap resolution, business process reengineering, and testing to deliver optimal SAP solutions.
• Ensure integration of business processes across modules such as MM, FI-CO, PS etc., and collaborate closely with the Technical Team to effectively manage security, roles, and authorizations.
• Clarify business processes, identify improvement opportunities and training needs, and ensure fulfilment of agreed customer expectations.
• Participate and advise units on the implementation of new business functions and solutions to complex business challenges, contributing to the achievement of sectional KPIs and targets aligned with the SAP Competency Centre and ICT objectives.
• Develop and manage Quality Management Systems (QMS) processes and procedures through proper documentation to standardize work practices and technologies.
• Plan and deliver SAP training for new and existing processes through classroom or one-on-one sessions.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• SAP Certification in Plant Maintenance/ Enterprise Asset Management preferred

Professional Experience

• Possesses over seven years of professional experience, including a minimum of five years as a hands-on SAP Functional Consultant, specializing in the implementation and support of SAP PM/EAM related processes encompassing business process design, configuration, gap analysis, development, testing, and training.
• Demonstrates comprehensive expertise in the areas of SAP PM/EAM, Management of Change, SSAM and Fleet Management.
