Required Qualifications
Education
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent
Certifications (Preferred)
- SAP ABAP with SAP S/4HANA Certification
- SAP CPI (Integration Suite) Certification Good to have
Role Summary
Lead and deliver SAP S/4HANA ABAP developments and SAP CPI integrations for Greenfield implementations, ensuring robust custom developments, clean-core compliance, and seamless system-to-system integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute SAP S/4HANA ABAP developments for Greenfield implementation projects
- Design, develop, and support RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows)
- Develop and enhance ABAP on HANA objects including CDS Views, AMDP, OData services
- Design and implement SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) interfaces for SAP and non-SAP systems
- Build and manage REST / SOAP / IDoc / Proxy-based integrations using CPI iFlows
- Collaborate with functional teams (FI, MM, SD, PP, QM) to understand requirements and provide technical solutions
- Support data migration using Migration Cockpit, LSMW, BAPI, and custom programs
- Support UAT, cutover activities, go-live, and hypercare for all technical developments and integrations
- Ensure performance optimization, code quality, security, and clean-core compliance
Technical & Functional Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience in ABAP on HANA (CDS, AMDP, Open SQL, performance tuning)
- Experience with SAP CPI / BTP Integration Suite, including iFlow design and monitoring
- Strong knowledge of API-based integration, IDoc, RFC, and file-based interfaces
- Experience in S/4HANA Greenfield implementations
- Working knowledge of S/4HANA extensibility concepts (In-App vs Side-by-Side)
- Experience with forms (Adobe / SmartForms) and workflows
- Exposure to security, OAuth, certificates, and error handling in CPI
Soft Skills
- Strong stakeholder communication and requirement analysis skills
- Ability to work closely with functional consultants and business users
- Experience mentoring junior developers and coordinating offshore teams
