SAP Consultant – BW/ BI - Qatar

Role Objective

SAP Analytics (BW/ BI ): Design, configure, and customize SAP solutions and Manage and provide specialist support to Business End Users for the SAP install base of BW/4 HANA System, SAP Analytics Cloud ,Business Planning & Simulations, Embedded BPC on BW, SAP BW BCS 4 HANA SAP Business Objects, Data Services, , reporting requirements and dashboard by using SAP SAC, Java Script, CSS, graphic designing and UI5 coding, as per the Business Requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead or support SAP Analytics implementations and enhancements.

Configure SAP BW 4 HANA, SAC modules including planning, execution, and implementation

Collect, analyze, and provide inputs to establish vision and priorities based on industry best practices by engaging stakeholders. Implement and support appropriate solutions to improve IT cost effectiveness, service quality and business development while meeting QatarEnergy current and future needs

Provide business intelligence reporting & analytics consultation to business for improving business processes, analysis, and reporting capabilities as well as relevant training

Plan and Conduct customer contact workshops to improve business effectiveness by proposals and recommendations

Plan, execute and report the status of projects, manage risks, and resolve issues to achieve project goals using latest SAP implementation methodology e.g. (SAP ACTIVATE)

Participate and advise business for implementation of new business functions and solutions to complex business problems

Establish and maintain reporting controls to ensure that data is made available only to authorized users and contribute towards sectional KPI's and targets that are aligned to the ERP Competency Centre and Directorate objectives.

Participate in ICT initiatives to develop clear policies and procedures to procure, deploy and support efficient and effective computer information technology systems based on industry best practices

Escalate and Resolve SAP product issues through active collaboration with SAP AG

Translate QatarEnergy business requirements to SAP functionality through analysis. Design and configuration of business processes, resolution of gaps, business process re-modeling and testing to deliver optimum SAP solutions

Manage resources and budgets through proper planning to finalize projects and tasks to meet business goals and objectives. Analyze and control migration of analytical platform to latest platform through use of appropriate migration tools, enhancements, redevelopment to ensure the business continuity

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
