SAP CO-PA with P2P Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP CO-PA & P2P Subject Matter Expert (SME) to review an already implemented SAP solution, identify issues, recommend improvements, and drive enhancements. The role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on SAP expertise, and the ability to work closely with business and technical teams. Travel to Dubai may be required based on project needs.

Location : India (Remote)

Shift- Dubai Shift (10.30 am - 7.30 pm IST - Remote)

Type : Contract ( 3 +3 months, extendable)

Experience : 8+ years

Open to Travel to Dubai if needed for onsite discussions, workshops, or critical phase.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of SAP experience with strong hands-on expertise in SAP CO-PA (Costing-Based and/or Account-Based).
• Solid functional knowledge of P2P processes (MM, FI integration).
• Proven experience reviewing and stabilizing existing SAP implementations.
• Strong understanding of CO-PA integration with FI/MM (pricing, settlements, variance analysis).
• Experience in issue resolution, optimization, and enhancement projects.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and act as an SME/advisor to business and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze the existing SAP CO-PA and P2P implementation to identify functional, configuration, and process gaps.
• Perform root cause analysis of reported issues and provide practical, scalable solutions.
• Design and implement enhancements to improve profitability reporting, cost visibility, and procurement-to-pay integration.
• Validate CO-PA postings from P2P processes including purchase orders, goods receipt, invoice posting, and settlements.
• Work closely with FI, MM, and CO teams to ensure end-to-end process consistency.
• Support testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT) and ensure issue-free delivery.
• Conduct workshops with business stakeholders and provide expert recommendations.
• Prepare functional documentation, solution designs, and impact assessments.
• Travel to Dubai when required for onsite discussions, workshops, or critical phase.
