Summary: The SAP CO/Product Costing Specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing finance processes through technology. The primary objective is to oversee and optimize SAP CO modules, specifically focusing on Product Costing and Actual Costing/Material Ledger.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve SAP Product Costing functionalities.
- Own the technical aspects of the application and ensure system integrity.
- Serve as the primary contact for resolving complex SAP Product Costing issues.
- Ensure smooth operation and troubleshooting of SAP CO PC solutions.
- Collaborate with IT finance experts to analyze business and functional requirements.
- Propose solutions for finance processes and translate business needs into system requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in the SAP CO landscape.
- Provide expertise to the ongoing ERP Rebuild project (S/4HANA transformation).
- Participate in SAP CO/Product Costing projects, including upgrades and enhancements.
- Ensure data integrity and system security following IT policies and standards.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in IT finance jobs.
- At least 5 years of experience supporting SAP Actual Costing/Material Ledger in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of SAP CO sub-modules.
- Familiarity with SAP ECC/S4 is beneficial.
