Job Description
We are looking for an experienced SAP BW on HANA Consultant with 1015 years of experience in SAP BI/BW and HANA technologies. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP BW modeling, data extraction, reporting, and performance optimization on HANA platform, along with experience in implementation and support projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain SAP BW on HANA data models, including InfoObjects, ADSOs, Composite Providers, and Open ODS Views.
- Develop and manage ETL processes using BW Extractors, DataSources, DTPs, and Transformations.
- Perform data modeling and reporting using SAP BW and HANA.
- Optimize BW data models and queries for HANA performance.
- Develop and enhance BEx Queries and reporting solutions.
- Work with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Handle data extraction from SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Perform data validation, testing, and troubleshooting of BW data loads and reports.
- Participate in end-to-end implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in SAP BW / BI with BW on HANA.
- Hands-on experience with BW data modeling (InfoObjects, ADSO, Composite Providers, InfoCubes).
- Experience in Transformations, DTP, Process Chains, and DataSources.
- Knowledge of HANA Studio and HANA Modeling concepts.
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization in HANA environment.
- Good understanding of SAP data extraction techniques.
- Strong knowledge of BEx Queries and reporting tools.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP BW/4HANA.
- Knowledge of SAP HANA Native Modeling (Calculation Views).
- Experience with SAP Analytics tools such as SAP BO, SAC, or Lumira.
- Exposure to S/4HANA integration with BW.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
