Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement SAP BW-IP Data Flows: Design, build, and optimize SAP Business Warehouse Integrated Planning (BW-IP) data flows within the S4 HANA environment to support planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Data Modeling Expertise: Provide expert input and guidance on data modeling strategies and best practices between SAP BW 7.4 on HANA and native HANA environments. This includes extensive experience with Composite Providers, Advanced Datastore Objects (ADSOs), and Open ODS Views.
- Technical Design and Development: Translate business requirements into robust technical designs and develop high-quality SAP BW-IP solutions.
- Performance Optimization: Identify and implement solutions for performance optimization of BW-IP data flows and queries.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Provide expert-level support for existing BW-IP applications, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective resolutions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with functional teams, business users, and other technical teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all developed solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation within the SAP BW-IP landscape.
- Application Development: Contribute to the creation of complex, enterprise-transforming applications within a dynamic, progressive, technically diverse environment.
Required Skills and Experience:
- SAP BW-IP Development: Proven experience in developing and implementing SAP BW-IP data flows in an S4 HANA system.
- Data Modeling: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with data modeling concepts in SAP BW 7.4 on HANA and native HANA, specifically with:
- Composite Providers
- Advanced Datastore Objects (ADSOs)
- Open ODS Views
- S4 HANA Experience: Strong understanding of the S4 HANA data model and integration points with BW.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English are essential. Ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Self-Motivation and Autonomy: Self-motivated, capable of managing own workload effectively with minimum supervision, and taking ownership of tasks and projects.

Desirable Skills (Plus Points):
- Experience with other SAP analytics tools (e.g., SAC, Lumira, Webi).
- Knowledge of ABAP programming for BADI implementations or custom enhancements in BW-IP.
- Experience with SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC).
- Relevant SAP certifications.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
