Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in the full lifecycle of SAP BW/4HANA implementation and enhancement projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Perform comprehensive data modeling in SAP BW, BW on HANA, and BW/4HANA, including the design and development of Info Objects, DSOs, ADSOs, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views, and other data warehousing objects.
- Develop and optimize complex SAP BW transformations, DTPs, and process chains to ensure efficient data extraction, loading, and transformation from various source systems (e.g., SAP ECC, S/4HANA, non-SAP systems).
- Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using SAP Business Objects Web Intelligence (WEBI) to meet diverse business reporting requirements.
- Collaborate closely with business users and functional teams to understand reporting and analytics needs, translating them into technical specifications and viable solutions.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of existing BW queries, data models, and processes to enhance system efficiency and user experience.
- Provide expert-level support for SAP BW/4HANA and WEBI environments, resolving issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
- Stay current with the latest SAP BW, HANA, and Business Objects technologies and best practices, proactively recommending improvements and innovative solutions.
- Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities, ensuring the quality and accuracy of delivered solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Business Warehouse (BW), BW on HANA, and BW/4HANA.
- SAP BW/4HANA Certified Consultant (Certification details should be provided if asked).
- Proven experience in Implementation, Support, and Enhancement Projects across different SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, SD, MM, PP).
- Strong expertise in back-end development and data modeling within SAP BW/4HANA, including advanced DSO, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views, and other HANA-optimized objects.
- Proficiency in designing and developing reports and dashboards using SAP Business Objects Web Intelligence (WEBI).
- Solid understanding of SAP HANA native modeling (Calculation Views, Attribute Views, Analytic Views) is a plus.
- Experience with SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) integration with BW is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A self-starter with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
- Experience with other SAP BusinessObjects tools (e.g., Lumira, Analysis for Office).
- Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) integration.
- Exposure to ABAP programming for BW routines and exits.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
