Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in the full lifecycle of SAP BW projects, including implementation, support, and enhancement for various SAP modules.
- Conduct thorough requirement analysis with business stakeholders to translate complex business needs into technical specifications for SAP BW/4HANA solutions.
- Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable data models in SAP BW on HANA and BW/4HANA, including Info Objects, DSOs, Info Cubes, ADSOs, and Composite Providers.
- Develop and optimize complex transformations, routines, and data flows to ensure efficient and accurate data loading from various source systems into BW.
- Design and develop high-performance reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions using SAP Business Objects Web Intelligence (WEBI).
- Perform configuration and customization of SAP BW/4HANA systems to align with business requirements and best practices.
- Provide ongoing support for existing SAP BW/4HANA and WEBI solutions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity and system performance.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business users, functional consultants, and other technical teams, to ensure seamless integration and successful project delivery.
- Stay abreast of the latest SAP BW, HANA, and analytics technologies and trends, proactively recommending and implementing innovative solutions.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members when required.
- Document technical designs, configurations, and test procedures thoroughly.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 7+ years of extensive experience in SAP BW/WEBI, SAP BW on HANA, and SAP BW/4HANA.
- SAP BW/4HANA Certified Consultant. (This is a strong must-have based on your input).
- Proven ability to perform well in all assignments, demonstrating a strong understanding and passion for SAP technologies.
- Strong expertise in SAP BW data modeling concepts (Info Objects, DSOs, Info Cubes, ADSOs, Composite Providers) and data extraction methods (ECC extractors, ODP, Flat files, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with BW on HANA optimizations and migration strategies.
- Proficiency in designing and developing reports and dashboards using SAP Business Objects Web Intelligence (WEBI).
- Solid understanding of SAP ABAP for BW (start/end routines, expert routines, transformations) is highly desirable.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of BW queries and data loads.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
- Experience with other SAP Business Objects tools (e.g., Lumira, Analysis for Office).
- Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
- Experience in S/4HANA embedded analytics.
- Familiarity with Agile project methodologies.
