- Design, develop, and enhance BW/BI solutions on SAP HANA (BW 7.5 or above).
- Work with BW 3.x and 7.x data flows for efficient ETL processing.
- Create/modify WHM objects like SPOs, Composite Providers, and ADSO.
- Develop and optimize routines in transformations for performance.
- Build and enhance generic/standard data sources to meet business needs.
- Design, configure, and monitor process chains for smooth and timely data loads.
- Use HANA-based BW modeling techniques for optimized data layers.
- Leverage BW modeling tools and BEx/BO for analytical reporting.
- Create/modify BW queries using Eclipse-based Query Designer.
- Utilize ADT (ABAP Development Tools) in Eclipse for BW-related ABAP development.
- Implement HANA exit variables via AMDP to enhance reports.
- Apply Core Data Services (CDS) for modern HANA data modeling.
- Perform performance tuning on both data loads and report execution.
Role Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in SAP BW/BI on HANA with hands-on development.
- Expertise in BW 3.x/7.x data flows, ETL, and process chains.
- Skilled in WHM object creation (SPOs, Composite Providers, ADSOs).
- Experience enhancing generic/standard data sources.
- Proficient in BW/BI modeling tools, BEx, and BusinessObjects tools.
- Familiarity with Eclipse-based Query Designer and ABAP Development Tools.
- Knowledge of AMDP, CDS, and HANA Studio for performance and modeling.
- Desirable: SAP Fiori/UI5, SAP S/4HANA integration, Agile, data governance/security.
- Strong ABAP debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
