Role Overview
Rockwoods is looking for a seasoned SAP Build Specialist to lead the creation of low-code and no-code environments. In this position, you will utilize the SAP Build ecosystem specifically Apps, Process Automation, and Work Zone to modernize business operations and improve user engagement within the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). Key Responsibilities
- Construct and launch bespoke software using SAP Build Apps visual interface for mobile and web platforms.
- Refine organizational efficiency by scripting automated workflows that incorporate AI, RPA, and logic-based decision-making.
- Develop and tailor specialized digital portals and team environments using SAP Build Work Zone to boost synergy.
- Partner with corporate leaders to evaluate operational needs and convert them into high-performing low-code tools.
- Link SAP Build architectures with SAP S/4HANA, internal SAP modules, and external software programs.
- Conduct rigorous testing and optimization to ensure all applications meet high standards for speed and data protection.
- Deliver comprehensive instructional materials and technical assistance to both staff and citizen developers.
- Monitor emerging SAP Build trends, such as generative AI, to provide strategic recommendations.
Required Qualification and Skills
- University degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a relevant technical discipline.
- At least 3 years of focused work with SAP systems, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in SAP BTP or the Build suite.
- Expert-level skill in no-code/low-code environments; additional familiarity with REST APIs or JavaScript is beneficial.
- Clear grasp of corporate workflows within sectors such as HR, Finance, or Logistics.
- Analytical mindset with a proven track record of succeeding in multi-departmental team settings.
- Possession of an SAP certification in BTP, Build, or a related field is a significant plus.
- Superior interpersonal skills for effective training sessions and client interactions.
