Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) CAP Developer with strong expertise in designing and developing enterprise-grade cloud applications using the Cloud Application Programming (CAP) Model.

The ideal candidate should have deep technical knowledge of SAP BTP architecture, hands-on development experience, and the ability to build scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop cloud-native applications on SAP BTP

Build and expose services using CDS modeling and OData (V4)

Develop backend services using Node.js within CAP framework

Develop responsive front-end applications using React.js integrated with CAP services

Integrate applications with SAP S/4HANA and third-party systems

Deploy and manage applications in SAP BTP Cloud Foundry environment

Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (XSUAA, OAuth2)

Ensure performance optimization, security compliance, and code quality

Participate in architecture discussions and technical solution design

Technical Requirements

Strong hands-on experience in SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry environment)

Proven project experience in CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model)

Solid expertise in Node.js and/or React.js (ES6+)

Strong knowledge of CDS, service handlers, annotations

Experience with SAP HANA / HDI containers

Experience in building RESTful and OData services

Understanding of event-driven architecture and asynchronous programming

Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines

Preferred Skills

Experience working on enterprise SAP implementations

Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 is an added advantage

Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder interaction skills
