Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SAP BO (BusinessObjects with Qlik Sense skill) Developer with 2 to 4 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain Business Intelligence (BI) solutions. The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of reporting tools and data structures, and be eager to grow in the SAP BO ecosystem. You will work with business and technical teams to develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain SAP BO reports, dashboards, and universes using Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, and BO Designer.
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Conduct unit testing, troubleshoot report issues, and optimize report performance.
- Support data validation, accuracy, and integrity across BI reports.
- Maintain documentation for BI processes and reporting logic.
- Assist in report automation and scheduling using BusinessObjects tools.
- Learn and apply best practices for report development and BI performance tuning.
- Coordinate with data engineers and backend teams to understand source systems and data flows.
Primary Skills
Mandatory Skills:
- Knowledge of SAP Business Objects tools (WebI, Universe Designer, Crystal Reports).
- Knowledge on Qlik Sense (Mandatory)
- Understanding of SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge in MS Excel and data handling.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
Good to have skills:
- Knowledge of BI launch pad and report scheduling.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization tools.
- Understanding of data modeling, metadata management, and report lifecycle.
- Awareness of business process flows in domains like finance, sales, or HR.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certification or training in SAP BO/BI or related technologies (preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
