Primary role (standardized title): SAP BusinessObjects Consultant On-site (India)
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain SAP BusinessObjects reports and dashboards using Web Intelligence and Crystal Reports to meet stakeholder requirements.
- Create and manage Universes (UNX/UNV) using Information Design Tool (IDT) or Universe Designer for reliable semantic layers and self-service reporting.
- Collaborate with data warehouse and ETL teams (SAP BW/HANA) to translate business requirements into robust data models, queries and optimized SQL.
- Perform report performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis across BO server, queries and data sources to ensure SLAs are met.
- Implement scheduling, bursting and publication workflows; configure security, folders and access controls on the BI Platform.
- Support deployment, regression testing and documentation for releases; provide production support and knowledge transfer to business users.
