BI Developer – BW PowerBI, SAC Planning
A BI Developer with BW PowerBI and SAC skills develops end-end BI reporting with BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud and PowerBI. The resource has extensive experience in developing ETL and utilizes ABAP programming skills. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive data solutions to support our business needs. The ideal candidate will have PowerBI Reporting expertise and SAC Planning.
Roles /Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Strong experience in governance, upgrade, support and performance tuning of BW/4HANA.
- Design and implement data models and reports using SAP BW/4HANA, PowerBI and SAC Planning models.
- Develop and maintain ETL process to ensure efficient data flow and transformation ABAP and BODS.
- Write and optimize ABAP code for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Develop ABAP based Generic Extractors with ABAP HANA, AMDPs and CDS Views development experience required.
- Develop complex routines, transformations and customer exits.
- Troubleshooting and debugging on complex BW/4 ABAP/AMDP code.
- Refer to and follow SDLC and document all QA deliverables.
- Facilitate skills and knowledge transfer to EICT SAP BI team.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- Certified SAP BW/4HANA, BODS or SAC Development.
- 5+ years of experience in SAP BW/4HANA, PowerBI, SAC Planning, and ABAP.
- Strong process knowledge and experience with SAP BW/4 acquisitions including HANA /BODS DataSources and ABAP.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
