SAP Basis/SLT Consultant

Primary Responsibilities

SLT Implementation & Management

• Lead the setup, configuration, and ongoing management of SAP SLT for both real-time and batch data replication.
• Design and maintain seamless ETL workflows to minimize disruption to source and target systems.

Non-SAP to SAP Migration

• Plan, manage, and execute data migrations from non-SAP systems to SAP using SLT.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and quality during migration, cutover, and validation phases.

Central Finance (CFIN) Support

• Support and configure SLT-based replication for Central Finance projects.
• Align replication architecture with CFIN landscape, ensuring proper synchronization and mapping.

SAP Basis & Data Integration

• Collaborate with SAP Basis teams to monitor and enhance system performance and SLT throughput.
• Integrate and support SAP Data Hub or Magnitude for end-to-end data orchestration and transformation.

Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting

• Monitor SLT replication processes, identify root causes of job failures or delays, and resolve transformation issues.
• Implement performance tuning measures and ensure high availability and reliability of replication services.

Documentation & Best Practices

• Maintain clear, thorough technical documentation including configuration details, issue resolutions, and change logs.
• Enforce adherence to SAP best practices for SLT, security, and system integration standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 7+ years of SAP experience, including:
• 3+ years hands-on in SAP SLT configuration and replication.
• 3+ years supporting SAP Basis administration.
• Proven experience in:
• SLT-based data replication (SAP & non-SAP sources).
• Central Finance (CFIN) data integrations and architectural understanding.
• Data migration planning, execution, and cutover support.
• Hands-on with SAP Data Hub or Magnitude for large-scale data movement.
• Proficiency in:
• SLT real-time monitoring and performance tuning.
• Troubleshooting complex data replication issues.
• Transport management and system health checks.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across business and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP Certifications in SLT, Basis, or Central Finance.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA migrations or hybrid cloud/on-premise SAP environments.
• Exposure to high-volume transactional systems and data reconciliation.
