SAP BASIS - HANA

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems running on SAP HANA database.
• Perform SAP system monitoring, tuning, and performance optimization on HANA environments.
• Manage system upgrades, patches, and support package implementations for SAP BASIS and HANA.
• Handle database administration tasks including backup, recovery, and disaster recovery for HANA.
• Coordinate with SAP BASIS, Security, and Functional teams for smooth SAP operations.
• Implement and maintain SAP HANA security, user roles, and authorizations.
• Troubleshoot SAP BASIS and HANA related issues, working with SAP support as needed.
• Automate routine BASIS and HANA administration tasks using scripting and tools.
• Maintain documentation related to SAP BASIS and HANA system configurations and procedures.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong experience with SAP BASIS administration and support
• Hands-on expertise in SAP HANA database administration
• Knowledge of SAP system architecture, transports, and client management
• Experience in SAP system installation, upgrade, and patching on HANA
• Familiarity with SAP HANA Studio, HANA Cockpit, and SAP HANA tools
• Understanding of SAP security concepts, roles, and authorization management
• Experience with backup and recovery strategies in SAP HANA
• Scripting skills (Shell, Python, etc.) for automation
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
