Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP system administration and will be responsible for managing the performance and availability of our SAP systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor SAP system performance, ensuring optimal operation and availability.
- Install, configure, and upgrade SAP systems and applications as required.
- Perform system backups, restorations, and data recovery operations.
- Troubleshoot SAP system issues and provide timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
- Implement and maintain SAP security protocols to protect sensitive data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support SAP integration and upgrades.
- Conduct regular system checks and provide recommendations for improvements.
Skills and Qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience in SAP Basis administration or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of SAP architecture and landscape design.
- Experience with database management systems such as Oracle, HANA, or SQL Server.
- Proficiency in SAP system installation, configuration, and upgrades.
- Familiarity with SAP NetWeaver and other SAP technologies.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
- Experience with performance tuning and system monitoring tools.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure.
