SAP Basis Consultant

REQUIRED SKILLS: SAP basis + HANA , SAP Rise, SAP BTP, Hyperscalling, Troubleshooting

Location: Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Greater Noida, Kolkata

Roles & Responsibilities:

Architect, implement and maintain day-to-day SAP basis administration activities in a

complex multi-tier SAP landscape.

Provide operational and project support keeping focus on meeting project milestones.

Ensure SAP based systems operate reliably and efficiently in a secure environment.

Ensure the adherence of standards and SAP best practices.

Maintain close daily contact with vendor led SAP Basis team regarding assignments,

work progress and statuses.

Work closely with functional and business teams.

Be accountable for the support and proactive monitoring of the core SAP applications

including installation, performance, break fixes and change requests per business

requirements

Ensures that changes to SAP are delivered in line with business standards and do not

cause any detrimental impact to Mercury systems.

Architect activities during upgrades and major releases with multiple stakeholders,

working with Change and Release Management teams.

Research complex application/System integration issues with functional teams; examine

integration between various systems (SAP and non-SAP) for inconsistencies.

Perform root-cause-analysis for problem tickets.

Create detailed solution documentation and presentations.

Assist with the configuration and maintenance of High Availability and Disaster Recovery

SAP solutions.

Participate in Disaster Recovery testing to help ensure business continuity.

Input to the definition of the solution road map, integrating multiple disparate processes,

and addressing short and long term organizational needs.
