Description
We are seeking a SAP Basis Consultant to join our team in India. This role is designed for freshers/entry-level candidates who are eager to learn and grow in the field of SAP Basis administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems including SAP HANA, SAP ECC, and SAP S/4HANA.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability of SAP systems.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and enhancements as per the project requirements.
- Manage user access and authorization in SAP environments.
- Implement backup and recovery strategies for SAP databases.
- Collaborate with functional teams to resolve issues and provide support for SAP applications.
- Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Participate in project planning and execution for SAP implementations and migrations.
Skills and Qualifications
- Basic understanding of SAP architecture and components.
- Familiarity with operating systems (Linux/Unix/Windows) and database systems (Oracle, SQL Server, HANA).
- Knowledge of SAP Basis administration tasks such as client administration, transport management, and system refresh.
- Understanding of SAP security concepts including roles, profiles, and authorizations.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for system performance issues.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like SAP Solution Manager.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
