Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis & Authorization AMS Consultant to provide Application Management Support (AMS) for SAP systems. The consultant will be responsible for system administration, user access management, security roles, and ensuring system stability across SAP landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 AMS support for SAP Basis administration and authorization management.
• Manage and maintain SAP system landscapes including SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and other SAP platforms.
• Perform user administration, role creation, and authorization management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to performance, connectivity, and security.
• Handle transport management, system monitoring, and client administration.
• Perform system refreshes, kernel upgrades, patches, and upgrades.
• Work on authorization roles, profiles, and access control compliance.
• Support audit and compliance requirements related to SAP access management.
• Monitor background jobs, system logs, and performance metrics.
• Coordinate with functional and technical teams to resolve system-related issues.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in SAP Basis administration.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Authorization Concept including role and profile management.
• Experience in user administration, role design, and troubleshooting authorization issues.
• Knowledge of transport management system (TMS), system monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Experience working in AMS / production support environments.
• Familiarity with incident management tools such as ServiceNow or similar.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with **SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Knowledge of **SAP GRC Access Control for compliance and risk management.
• Exposure to SAP system upgrades and migrations.
