Job Summary
B1 Functional Consultant – SAP Business One will be required to work within the SAP Business One team to deliver ERP solutions to a growing client base. Ensuring the value added by the project to the customer and confirming that project objectives are accomplished. The consultant's role comprises a wide variety of duties and tasks and requires them to have a proactive and flexible approach to work.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining expert knowledge of SAP B1 and any related industry add-ons and solutions to meet market needs.
- Support the sales team during presales with workshops and demonstrations and proposal design, documentation, and preparation.
- Drive the end-to-end process for implementation projects, from business requirement management to integration &configuration and production deployment.
- Advise clients on strategy and detailed use cases by leveraging insights from industry best practices.
- Employ consulting best practices in discovery, business analysis, and process documentation.
- Effectively communicating with the client.
- Investigate, establish, document, and seek agreement on a client's business requirement.
- Configure SAP Business One to meet agreed requirements.
- Identify operational difficulties/challenges and leads the team in the recommendation of ideas and solutions to achieve the project milestones and deliverables.
- Design and implement add-on solutions to SAP to meet specific client business needs.
- Manage integration to external systems, including but not limited to WMS, eCommerce, payment, and EDI systems.
- Perform process reviews and system testing to ensure delivery of quality solutions.
- Train the client in the use of SAP Business One and related software applications.
- Providing regular project status reports to Management.
- Enter all work as activities or service tickets in ConnectWise.
- A solid understanding of business processes, policies, and workflows .
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in manual testing or quality assurance (preferred).
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
